One of our favorite days y’all!
First and foremost, celebrating cannabis is important to us, and we’re excited to celebrate all over town throughout our community, and celebrate with giveaways in our store. BRH Cannabis Cup
BRH is hosting our second ever Cannabis Cup!
Details:
We’re so excited to bring back another Cannabis Cup with you guys! This will be a fun, friendly competition to see who grows the best bud in the area. This time we have bigger prizes, and two categories for indoor/outdoor since we know we’ll have all of those outdoors yields! This year we will also have LIVE MUSIC by Foster Burton playing from 5-7:30pm, with us announcing winners from 6-6:30pm. This event is also RSVP only and 18+!!
Your final day to drop off bud is Friday November 25th! Please drop off your bud @ the shop any time between now and then. 4 grams is needed for the competition! The celebration itself; announcing the winners, handing out prizes, hanging together and enjoying each other’s entries, will be held at our new store location on Saturday December 9th from 5-7pm (we will not have moved in yet, so it is a large, wide open space we get to make our own for the evening.
There will be two categories: Indoor and Outdoor grows (you can enter for both, or mulitple for the same category). Judging of cannabis will be based on the following:
Aroma
Bag Appeal
Taste
Effect.
Scored from a rating of 1-10 by three different judges. You get to see your results during the celebration/event!
How to Enter:
Drop off a minimum of 4 grams at the BRH store (501 Marshall Avenue SouthwestRoanoke, VA, 24016) by November, 25th 2023. Winners will be announced at the Cannabis Cup celebration on Saturday, December 9th 5:00-07:30PM.
Entry cost is $50 for your first entry, and $30 per any additional entry (no limit on entries!). We prefer cash if you can!
The sign up sheet will include your name, number, and email (we can announce you anonymously as a winner if you choose to keep your name private).
There is no cost to attend Cannabis Cup celebration on December 2nd — bring your friends!!
Note: Blue Ridge Hydroponics is also partnering with IndyLabs for optional lab testing for participants. If you wish to take part in testing, please bring an additional 3 grams upon drop-off. Cost for this collaboration is $50. Please note: Lab results are not a part of the judging/results for the cup and you must be a participate in the Cannabis Cup to use this discounted price for testing. Bring us the goods, we’ll drop it off at IndyLabs for you.

1st Place - $150 cash + Seed Calendar from NA Seed Company ($250 value) + BRH T-shirt

July Grow Class
On Saturday July 8th, Blue Ridge Hydroponics is offering a comprehensive grow class for anyone interested in learning about gardening. The class cost is $50.00 and runs from 8-10 AM. You can purchase tickets in store or online in our store.
This class is perfect for beginners who want to start their own indoor garden or seasoned growers who want to improve their skills.
The class will cover a range of topics including plant nutrition, lighting, pest management, and system design. Participants will learn about different hydroponic systems such as deep water culture, ebb and flow, and nutrient film technique. They will also learn how to choose the right equipment and set up their own hydroponic system.
The instructors are experienced growers who are passionate about hydroponic gardening. They will provide hands-on training and answer any questions that participants may have. The class will also include a tour of Blue Ridge Hydroponics' facility, where participants will get a firsthand look at the latest hydroponic technology and equipment.
At the end of the class, participants will have the knowledge and skills to grow their own hydroponic garden. They will receive a certificate of completion and a discount on their first purchase of hydroponic equipment from Blue Ridge Hydroponics.
