The word “hydro-ponics”
is believed to have come from two Greek words Hydro-meaning
water, and ponics – meaning work, in simple terms water works.

gardens of Babylon, even the Aztec Indians grew plants on rocks
in shallow streams and lakes, these where all forms of
hydroponic gardening.
